blow thru
i just finished my engine its a 1699 74x85.5 single weber 44 carb blow thru system and i didnt expect it to run as powerful as it is it makes 10 pounds of boost in 1st gear i have the waste gate set at 13lbs. so far trouble free. if your driven normal in first gear shift to second mash the pedal when boost hits about 10lbs it breaks the tires loose same in 3rd gear its a blast to drive. starts every time no problems so far except for the rubber gasket in the carb have to replace it i dont know if boost killed it or fuel ate it turned to like powder.then started to leak. im totally happy with this setup now im going to build the next motor with a blow thru 4 barrel.

Re: blow Vs Pull through pros and cons
I have a question. Does intake manifolds become restrictions with draw through than with blow through?
Is that part of the pros and cons?

A restriction is a restriction. Can you be more specific about what you have or are planning to build?
