The USAF , Navy and most if not all militaries (even Russia) and likely airlines on earth use a lubricating/cleaner/preservative spray on electrical connectors, the Navy has a much cheaper version they also use for general anti-rust duty that still works for avionics/computer guts etc. I have used Break Free CLP for same things since late 80s (almost identical chemically, and a lot more common). Consider it electrical gremlin-b-gone.
