Re: Not building boost
Also make sure your valves are adjusted. If that's not it I would look at your wastegate next

Yes I have a strong spark not sure what that has to do with low boost pressure.

Re: Not building boost
Pics would help of the plumbing of the wategate line. Is this a new problem that's just occurred or this is a new build etc. So the vacuum/pressure line comes from your turbo and where on the manifold do you have it plumbed to ?
Wonder if you can use a bike pump or compressed air to check the WG actuation ?

If there are no leaks in the header it almost has to be the waste gate. Maybe find a way to pin it shut and go for a drive. Should damn near make 2 psi just revving in neutral.

Re: Not building boost
I just want to add something I’ve taken this thing to probably 4000 rpms and can’t get over two lbs . I took the air compressor turned it down to 5 lbs the gaged worked. Ok how big of a leak to not get it over two lbs?

Re: Not building boost
How are you sealing everything up ?
Do you have some top hats on them ? Upload some pics of your set up. Not many guys here are blowing through Kadrons so it'd be cool to see.

If the waste gate is adjustable then it seeming to work may not be good enough. Did you drop the exhaust side and check movement of the gate. Leaving the hose off will let you know for sure.Booky wrote:I used a composer today to check the waste gate seams to be working ok .The waste gate is plumed from the port on the turbo .This is a new build.Have to wait till tomorrow my alternator took a dump late yesterday alternator is to be hear tomorrow morning.
If your worried about leaks under pressure you can use PVC with a Schroeder valve and pressurize your piping to check for leaks.

I think I was able to get 5 psi of boost with a 1" hole in my intake.
