No I'm in good old "Blighty", the Metro was quite common here, but not the Turbo - the Metro was a granny's car and not so many were bothered with boost.
Saying that I bought mine from an old lady, she used it once a week to go to the shops, it was garaged and despite being 10 years old had 1400 miles on the clock (it still had the dealer paper mats in the back).
It still rotted away in front of my eyes though - I think that was a "feature".
I can't imagine anyone going to the trouble of importing one of those to the US

I never realized an Impulse was RWD.
I also knew someone that had a Turbo Chevy Spectrum. Those were FWD Isuzu’s, just rebadged.

Google Pontiac 301 crankshaft for a laugh. I saw one in a machine shop once. It’s missing counterweights.

I actually built a n/a Buick 231 for my 77 sunbird. Only got it to go 15.4 in the quarter. I did have the turbo 6 logo etched in each 1/4 window. It had glasspacks and was so loud. I’ll post a pick later.
