John,
I?m in Roselle, and can show you a running 411 wagon. If you want I?ll stop by and help with some questions, and MAYBE let you drive her!!

I have so many questions. I would gladly accept your offer. Also I would love to see your wagon. Currently I am trying to get the fuel pump in better shape. I am tempeted to take it a part to get more grime out of it.

Be careful taking the pump apart!!!. The o-rings in the head are not normal o-rings. They are slightly flat in cross section. They have to crush down to exact toleances...or else the pump will not work at all, because it raises the head clearance over the rollers and causes internal leakage. The only thing I would really take apart , is to uncrimp the little silver cap on the relief valve and make sure the rubber seat on the spring valve is clean and un damaged. You will need a new o-ring, but its just a regular one. You should be able to clean the pump well enough just by filling it with a mixture of carb cleaner and gasoline and standing it up on end and letting it sit overnight. If not, you have rust on the rollers...and its shot. Ray
