I used the high center analogy to help the viewpoint of carbs vs. offroading vs. FI. I have not used CIS. I do have a good working knowledge of L-Jet as this is what's on our 78 Westy. CIS is mechanical and it can have some minor electrics to boot. Try
www.sandrail.com and scroll through to get to Millers section. He was able to answer all of my questions about it. You can also do CIS research on the FI section here on shoptalkforums. Nothing wrong with carbs, mind ya. It's just another choice. Damn it, huh?

I'm sure it would work better (cis) if I could take the buggy up those hills at Carnegie. They are pretty steep. I do like the Idea of cis and will look into it since I haven't got the carbs yet.
