Prolly old enough to make Glenn feel young! I lost track a few years back but I don't think I'm 60 ...yet.

Turned 18 in February. Built a 1641 for a 67 bus that I drive everyday even though it's my bro's car. Running strong for two hard years, even when I worked out in Orange County over the summers. Over heated a lot though but still works!

Ran a yellow ragtop baja bug with a 2 liter in it. That was a fun car, but a little too bright though. Bought it when I was 14 for $750. Showed all those ricers what was really fast.

Just finished building a turbo 1914 in a green 67 street bug. Still breaking it in.

And helped my dad build his turbo rail and helped my uncle with his rail too.

Volkswagen fever I guess...

Jeese! Most a you guys are lots younger than your cars...I think it's great! :D I started VWs over 25 years ago. Raced a FV in SCCA for a few years and got used to quick handling and the aircooled noises. Great fun huh?

I turn 20 in august, and have been into vw's for 2 years... and when I look back on how I used to think it's amazing. I am the first one in my immediate family to take an interest in building/working on cars. When I first started I had no idea about anything. I have learned so much from these forums. Reading here everyday is almost like another class at school, except I take time and do it when I get bored :)

I built a 1776 last summer that's my daily driver and I built it to hold up for a turbo, which was going to go on soon. But $ issues have delayed the project. It's so close and yet so far....
