Well um...lessee now, that's 1,2,uh..3... runnin' out of fingers an toes to count on. Hey LoCash John, how old did you say you were...only 35??? Oh well, nevermind, I'm probably the oldest guy here. Prolly old enough to make Glenn feel young! I lost track a few years back but I don't think I'm 60 ...yet.

Turned 18 in February. Built a 1641 for a 67 bus that I drive everyday even though it's my bro's car. Running strong for two hard years, even when I worked out in Orange County over the summers. Over heated a lot though but still works!
Ran a yellow ragtop baja bug with a 2 liter in it. That was a fun car, but a little too bright though. Bought it when I was 14 for $750. Showed all those ricers what was really fast.
Just finished building a turbo 1914 in a green 67 street bug. Still breaking it in.
And helped my dad build his turbo rail and helped my uncle with his rail too.
Volkswagen fever I guess...

I turn 20 in august, and have been into vw's for 2 years... and when I look back on how I used to think it's amazing. I am the first one in my immediate family to take an interest in building/working on cars. When I first started I had no idea about anything. I have learned so much from these forums. Reading here everyday is almost like another class at school, except I take time and do it when I get bored
I built a 1776 last summer that's my daily driver and I built it to hold up for a turbo, which was going to go on soon. But $ issues have delayed the project. It's so close and yet so far....
