Herr 67T1/Panzerace...I was looking for this post because I've got a similar problem...did you get that AT cover plate to go down finally? Mine's about 0.030" proud, and I think I know what it's from, but I figured I'd ask you to see what caused your problem, in case it's affecting me, too.
