Its been my observation that a 2bbl progressive carb is only good for increasing fuel consumption. Two of them would be a disaster.
My buggy origionally came with a single Solix progressiv in-line 2bbl and it really worked great: didn't seem to use much, if any, more fuel than a stock single did (assuming I kept my foot from pinning the throttle to the floor all the time that is :lol: ) and the performance increase was very noticable and I don't remember any problems with fuel flow even on steep hills. The only real problem I had was getting the engine out of the buggy as the carb's top was sitting so high.

I am assuming that dual progressive 2bbls need to have an engine capabile of working with the additional air and fuel that they can pass or Noah's Arc is needed. Re-jetting el al needs to be done; such as proper sized cam, exhaust and what ever else that is determined to be needed.
