Albert, thanks for the link. That is GEX. They lump the type 2 late 6 rib in with the type 4...411/412..becasue they don't know there is a difference. They assume all vehicles with type 4 engines used teh same tranny just because the bell housing and the CV joint is the same. I spoke to them some time ago when I saw their ad...and wondered if they really had type 4 trannys. They didn't know what I was talking about and didn't care. The quality of their work is really poor on their engines. If they had a type 4 tranny for sale...i would buy it just for parts for sure. But...thanks for trying! Ray

You know...their workmanship is terrible...but it appears they sell the same baseline new parts as others. Pistons, cylinders, bearings etc. The prices arn't bad. But......and its been a while....have you ever called to ask them a question about parts? They were like talking to a box of rocks! they almost appeared to have inherriteed some of the line from rocky mountain motorworks. I never had a problem with RMMW. I always got what was described. But the new place...mid america motorworks...has nothing. Ray

Yeah Mid America has absolutly no Type 4 engine parts, I get most of my engine stuff from either Bus Depot or CIP1. Have a guy in the local club who I tried to talk out of putting a GEX in his Westie, he took someone else advice and spent 2k on a solid lifter 2 litre, that wont last 10k!

OH, I see, "GEX" at the top of the page (what the hell does that stand for anyway?), the fact that you would bring that up makes a little more sense now...
