Hey Guys, great info as always! I've never used a torch to test for leaks? Is that a command thing? I'm always afraid of the spray chems since they sometime melt or strip paint. I do use wd40!!!! LOts and LOTs!!
But I use it to keep the darm moisture at bay here and mold,lol! I swear I had to spray the whole engine bay with it after only a wet week of my car sitting on the side of the gargage with a cover to get the mold off my bad rebuild motor. So do the Ljets have the same fuel pressure issues?
I actually liked my old 412 with Ljet. The only problem I ever had with it was replacing one bad injector and the only break down was from a set of points that had broken the arm peice that rides on the dist. cam. Not to say I didnt do any of the usual maint. like fuel filters wires plugs, brakes! Lots of bleeding! I did have a fuel pump issue but I opened it up and cleaned it and it worked after removing some varnish stuff.
Sounds like if you sprayed wd over the stuff you probably dont have a big air leak. I guess on a djet it is worst since it effects the MPS?
Hope its just a TPS that needs to be cleaned and adjusted! bill
