Thanks :)

Yes that is a CSP Python 42mm exhaust.
No deep sump, as the wbx case already has a lot larger sump than the T1-style cases

One thing on mounting the ECU on there Grelland is a, noise, and b, heat, away from both sources will save you mucho grief, I would seriously consider mounting it inside on the firewall with suitable screening from noise, look at all the trouble o/e makers go to on just street cars with all the cables in moulded trunking, most ECU's are nowadays inside and away from stray signals and alternator current etc. just so you know, but it can be a big problem and hard to trace. I know, buildabiggerboxer, but I decided to try it and see how it works out. I figured that short wires will have a positive impact on the noise, that might outweight some of the negative ones.

I got a couple of hours of work done on Friday, and I staed by trial mounting the alu-plate with the electronics:
electronics.jpg
Then I started disassembling the stock drum brakes, in order to prepare for mounting the rear discs, and here is a trial mount of the adapter plates:
brakes.jpg
Then I need to place the oil cooler beside the gear-box, and it fits nicely:
cooler.jpg
But since I have a cooler without AN-couplings, I needed a few extra "thingies" to convert to the AN-10 hose ends, so then it becomes a bit thight:
trangt.jpg
I have later got hold of som 90° bends, so now it looks a lot better.

I also fixed a couple of small issues on the engine, as torqeing the flywheel, and mount the fuel pump block-off and Mario's excellent AN-plug in the distributor hole. I also got the old-school Gene Berg breather box mounted.

Getting closer :)

Finally the engine is in the car:

Quite a few more bits and pieces to get in place before I can fire it up, but it is getting there.

babysteps, but it runs, and I have taken it for a spin around the block. But the injectors are way too small, so I have a new set in the mail, then I will take it to the dyno, and then we will see how successful this has been :)

Cool that's ace! What do your current injectors flow? Vs new? (I'm worried mine will be the similar)

Congrats!

I had 19# injectors in, now I changed to 32#, and that made all the difference in the world. Still some tuning to do, but I took it to about 5000 rpm, and it is a bit on the rich side, and then the DC is about 48%.

A better quality pic from after yesterday's test'n'tune session:

im so confused by injector flows, think gsxr lowers are 225cc per min (i guess) @43psi

duty cycle sounds nice and low! lots of head room :) nice clean lines on your engine, looks "right"

Wow, I just went through this whole thread, very impressive work! Nice to see so much of it done at home with normal tools. Makes it seem a bit less daunting. I've always wanted to do an Oxy build, I'm less intimidated now. I know you ran into some issues down the road with it, but I guess that's documented in a different thread.
