I then priced out mahle 1.7 cylinder and it was 120euros each , lol.

I think you can manage making your own. After all, you made your own cylinders! Fuel rails are basic fab work compared to what you have accomplished already!

The extrusion is available on ebay. I have borrowed Supaninja's Ross Machine drill bit that does the machining in one step. It can be done with basic tools and the special bit isn't required.

What rod lengths are you using Don?

How much wider did all of this make your engine?

BTW, what cooling shroud will you be using?

5.7 Chevy length Porsche diameter rods, narrowed to Chevy width...
narrowing M300 rods is a BITHC!
;)

Engine is 30.58mm wider...1.20" wider.

Cooling is waiting on testing....although I DO have some whimsical pics on
page 3 in this thread! I have 2 sand rails and they would do great (turned around)
in the 1/4 mile!

What size exhaust are you going to run, specifically what size stub pipes ?

The PR extenders your making are good but can be a problem, because your going to run stock push rod tubes in them and stock tubes have a slight clearance issue with 1 1/2" stubs and get worse with larger ones.

I am running the 1 3/4" but I went special clearanced stroker tubes, which help from cooking the returning oil from the heads.
Get yours mocked up and see how they fit.

I made them to sit the PR tubes higher than stock and give EXTRA clearance....also
gives extra spring pressure.....
:D

Finished!

I will install the PRs and tubes tomorrow and the dual Dell 45s to check for leaks and
make sure everything is kosher before going to the next step and installing the CB Performance
Competition Fuel injection system.

Mistakes will be made.....in the trash!
