Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Here's a few photos of some of the damage...
I mangled the left spindle, bent both link pins, and bent both left trailing arms. the top of the car is pretty bent up too, but I'll bang most of that out.
The front tires should have negative camber, not positive...

You could call it "crumpled ceiling skin". It could have been worse though.

I may take you up on that. The crumpled area at the top of the passenger window and door is that bad part I can't just bang out.

Is it just a skin thing or was the frame area of the turret around the door distorted too?

The reason I asked if this is just a re-skin project of if structure is involved.
If it is more of a re-skin of part of the turret then there is a possibility that this might be of some help:
http://www.powerblocktv.com/episodes/TK ... rk-secrets If you can deal with all the commercials, and there are a lot of them, then starting at 02:49 and ending at 10:25 there are some tricks shown that possibly could help in skin/top/turret replacement.

I need to cut the car up to get rid of it anyways. I would rather see it to go to good use rather than scrap.

Tex, I am still looking for some good lower A-pillars for Shortie's class 5 project, so when you cut that car up keep me in mind.
