Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

The deer on the roof was sunday, got it with a crosbow, was meatloaf on tuesday, fri morn I got one with the baja, left its roadrashed, mangled carcas where it stoped sliding, baja definatly fared better than the deer.

That sucks! At least there's no more damage and you weren't injured!
My uncle hit a deer at 60 mph....totalled the truck (bent part of the front of the frame) and he hit his head on the steering wheel.

I hit one in my Jeep Wrangler at about 70mph on the Tri-State in Chicago. Pushed the steel bumper back to the tire. I'm just glad I was high up. That son of a gun got up and ran off. Probably not too far.

yes about 3/16 thinking of putting 235 75 15 ATs on front, same dia as the 29s
