Hi 2JMotorsports,
Specifically what brand and type of 195-50 x 15 tires are you using?
A set of 50-series lowers you almost two inches, but causes no suspension geometry problems.

FJC, they are Dunlop SP Sport 2000. I had them on a Honda Fit and found them to be quite grippy. Even though my suspension is stock height, the car got lower and I still have ground clearance and suspension travel for the inevitable pot holes all over where I live. Ill leave it as is until I can start tuning the suspension a bit more. Driving and handling aids first then power increase later.

Gauge dry fit. So far so good.

Progress has slowed to a crawl, but it has not stopped. My 7 month old little girl is a handful. =)
When I start putting the dash back together, Id like to clean up the wiring as best as possible. Is there a good way of cleaning electrical contacts other than manually abrading each one to remove dirt and corrosion? Any recommended cleaners? My wiring harness is intact and I will only be making minor modifications as necessary to get the 914 gauges to work.

Your dash has come out neat!!! Mine is a lot more butchered up than yours
I took everything out that i could and bead blasted them to clean up the connections -- The wire ends I did manually -- I took pictures of everything so I could remember what wire went where

I have not given up yet. I have fully operational speedo, tach, and fuel gauge in addition to the lights and hazard switch. Waiting for a sender for the temp gauge.
Anybody know where to buy the light bulb sockets on 914 gauges? I have searched and have come up empty handed.
Many of my dummy lights are missing the sockets and bulbs.

Question - You are using 195/60/15 tires on 5.5 rim? Isn't that too wide for the rim?

SOrry, my mistake. Still, using a 195/50/15s on a 5.5 rim? That's over two inches wider than the rim; WHat kind of tire pressures are you using?
My instinct tells me you would be a bite better off with a 185 or even a 175.
