My question might be: which of the two types of adjusters, inboard or outboard, give the most usable suspension travel; e.g., adjusting at the outboard end of the torsion bar or the inside end of the torsion bar. Not particularly fond of either way but if something has to be done quickly then which of the two types is going to be best for the using person.

There was a good 6 inches of ride height adjustment on the inner finger type.
Mind you, these days they're propping doors open and it take 10x as long to wind 4 coilover seats up and down :D
