I know clone had some experience with a blow thru pict looks like this guy has had some recent luck blowing thru a stock carb as well
I have nothing but good to say about blowing through a stockish carb. I was originally draw through with a couple different bike carbs and off boost drivability was never satisfactory.

The moment I put boost to the stock carb I new I was onto something. It actually started a little rich under boost but after some very minimal tuning it literally runs like a normal well behaved Volkswagen unit you give it a few more beans and you spool that little GT15 up to 11 then things happen quite rapidly for a stock single port.

Combined with a Megajolt crank trigger ignition and snow water meth injection I am extremely happy with the performance of my 1400lb rail. Short of blowing the engine up I don’t foresee making any more changes to it. It just flat works!

A gt15 will provide plenty of air for your engine. If you want to press the easy button one will bolt directly to an EMPI Baja style header that uses the SMALL 3 bolt flange for the stinger/muffler.

It's supporting the two original tubes of the front beam.....someone just added a third tube on the shock towers.

This is basically how a tubular rail style of buggy's front end usually looks like. The beam is held in place by "C-clamps". In this case, instead of the tube across between the towers I just stiffened the existing shock tower up with a vertical piece of flat stock welding to both the tower and the torsion tube.

I suspect that the brackets off the top of the shock towers are for lighting. Never seen it done this way before but it makes sense.

Cody, if you are going to race it I would have the join of the cage check and maybe gusseted. the join of the different sizes of tube needs to be verified.

yea dont plan on racing it, but we have been wondering if they used the different size pipe to raise the roof on it or what the deal was there, but at the moment were still getting it back to good, had to do a full rewire had splices on splices on splices, still need to replace the stearing box have about a 1/2 turn on the wheel before the tires even start to turn makes it kind of a funky ride, but the day i picked it up to drive to the shop it had no clutch or breaks so were making good progress

so i was looking at the holley page at their fuel pumps and the Holley red it says pushes a maximum of 7psi would this mean i could only run around 4 psi of boost before it cant push anymore, ive looked at other post and i see people using them but most look like its for efi. So i guess in short would a holley red fuel pump with the boost reg. work or would yall suggest a different pump, its only a 1600 motor with a carb.

If you are just going to blow through a carb simply boost reference your stock pump.

This will work up until the low teens of boost pressure.

with the 2013 CB black box do you need to get the vacuum reference kit for it to know when the car is under boost or is the box itself enough

I don't know anything about the box but I would imagine it would need a vacuum reference kit. I don't know how else it could know when to pull timing.
