How many cans

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Epoxy primer is different from Rust-O-Leum primer, or etching primer, or many other primers. It DOES set up harder. But it also costs several times as much as the rattle can Rust-O-Leum product our OP was talking about.

It's fairly cheap over here, I got enough to prime the whole car for Β£30 - about 40USD - and just rollered it on.

It's about $37 US for a quart here.
Example:

Probably a lower price through them than going to an automotive paint supply.

Take your pic and give it a whirl. If you're not happy, try the other...

Of course, I just recently got reprimanded on a different forum for saying such mean bullying things as my last post. So here's hoping I've not scared anybody on this forum for saying such nasty things.

That's society these days. I got banned from the "next door" web site (think Facebook for your neighborhood). People were complaining that the school was holding prom at a venue too small, so they limited tickets. Parents were given plenty of notice tickets were limited, but of course complained when their precious child couldn't attend because they didn't buy tickets in time. Someone said it was "every student's right" to attend prom. My reply that only life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were rights, and everything else is a privilege got me banned. I'm not fighting it. if they think me quoting the founding documents of our country is mean, I really don't think I belong in their group.

STF and most of its members are old enough and thick skinned so no complaints here.

So far 11 cans with 3 left, should have an extra for touch ups πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
