I'm sure i can adjust the level of interruption i get with traction control. I have it on my diesel and I'm glad to have it. I'd be pointing the wrong way everytime it rains here.

Ha! This ain't the Midwest my friend! I would kill 2 dozen people with a move like that here. I actually did it once when i had my dually. Old 12v Cummins spooled up pulling out onto a major road from a side road. She came all the way around on me right in the middle of a double 3 lane road full of traffic! Yikes!

Sure does. I used to live in a town of about 100 people. Didn't even have police!

Got the bottom of the car blasted, undercoated, and painted today. It was hard to pull the fuel lines and water lines, but i did it anyway. Had to pull the fuel tank to get to the lines and found that my pump seal has been leaking. Then found my ground connector appears to have gotten hot. Not a good situation! I'm going to order a few good connectors so i can just unplug some of this stuff more easily next time. I will put a bigger ground wire on when i do that and hope that takes care of it. Time to put a fire extinguisher in the car too!
Tomorrow I'm going to go back to work and put the fuel line and water hose back on.

People don't seem to understand the importance of the ground wire. It should be at least of the same gauge as the wire or wires it is supporting. Not a big fan of those slide together connections ether as they have a tendency to come apart easily and sometimes drop and short out causing other untold problems   .

I dont like them either. Just what i had at the time. I will be ordering some proper connectors this time around. Especially since all 3 connectors i need are high load. Fuel pump, heat exchanger fan, and water pump. I think I'm going to use Deutsch DT connectors. They are good for 13 amps per pin. May be overkill, but i like that better than underkill!
