Way two is to remove the entire shroud with the generator attached. This can be done with the engine in the car but that always looked like a pita to me. I drop the engine if the shroud is to come off.

Thanks Max! Read somewhere though that you can get access to it by dropping the muffler and cleaning out the heat risers with a old cable on a drill??"
