VdanielW wrote:Very cool! I'd have to imagine running a fuel line down the tunnel must have been crazy! I just run them down that little C channel down the passenger side.
It was a total pain in the a$$ had to make cut down wrenches and got multiple cuts on my hands and wrist. I used to run them down the channels but they hung lower than the pan do to my rear air lines taking up space in the channels. Not that I really care about youtube trolls but omg I got more flack about my fuel lines than anything else. At least I can say it's done and I won't have to mess with that again

Thank you Clonebug, it won't be as quick as your turbo buggy but I'll have fun looking at your boost loading sign if we ever meet up

Here's how the exhaust turned out. The 2 j tubes got flanges pretty much right where the slip joint was. Cyl 2's primary pipe ended up getting a handful of piecuts to move the pipe away from the body and the slip joint fully welded. I put a flange closer to the head on that pipe. Of course with welding the heat warp caused the fange to pull about 3/16 away so I ended up filling the gap with 3 solid copper gaskets. It's not ideal but I think it'll work out
Also here is a couple videos of the work for those that would like to watch

I started modifying the rear tin that goes by the package tray. Hindsight i should have raised the whole package tray but that's how it goes sometimes. I ended up cutting the center section out by the bell housing and made it a 2 piece unit. I reshaped the upper edge to clear my wiring and body. I still have to do the finishing metal work its just roughly shaped but I think it'll do the job just fine.
Once it is finished I can start tearing the car down again to paint all the brackets and get into the final assembly part of the build! I'm still going to open up the motor and inspect everything and re seal it, should be fun!
