Pillow.
I looked for M-B wheels and found nothing. Are you referring to Mercedes rims? See below.

or did you mean these...

These last ones are cool!

For the M-B rims check http://www.vanagon.com/ and click the "info" tab, then under "wheels and tires".
The Vanagon has the same bolt pattern as a bay.
Also www.tirerack.com will probably carry some sweet custom rims for M-Bs.

The picture with the big Michelin LTX tires are M-B rims. Probably 16x6(6.5?) off a C220 kind of thing.

he didn't chop it in the middle he tubbed under the seat to accomodate the tires and cut a new arch around the wheel well. that's the only way to sit it on the ground. giving me Ideas for my 79 bay
Ian
That bagged bus will never be able to roll down its windows because of the mid chopping. Never seen anything like that.
The other lowered bay looks great!

Re: Droppin a bay
Wagenswest sells things called horseshoe plates that will lower the back of your bus 3 1/4". Here's a link. http://www.wagenswest.com/parts.htmlVWmadman wrote:Anyone have a clue how many "notches" I need to drop to slam the rear of my 77 bay. Also are the weld in adjusters for the front any good. The cheapest I can find is just over $200...seems like alot for a few small chunks of metal. I want it really low so if any has pics tips of warnings let me know. Thanks
They are the next to the last thing on the page.
Franklin's sells parts too.
