This caliper appears very silmilar to the sliding caliper used on a lot of the Audi 5000/100'series Ray

No, its a nice grade steel (though it also rusts). I bought them and the thin outer bearing spacers from a guy over here that made a few extra pairs and has done the mod several times already to 944 hubs. He also uses a made to fit press-piece if heating alone isn't enough, but I didn't use/need it.

Does this guy have an website for ordering these spacers?

I followed your link, and found lots of interesting information. But I couldn't see any place that he was selling these spacers/adapters for the wheel bearings? My dutch is quite poor, but I reckon yours are better - those he sell them or has he just the excellent drawings?

Richard ís just a privat person. He doesn't have a fancy internet shop where you can order. Just send him an email, I am sure its on his site somewhere. He had some sets left iirc. Tell him I said hi

Another go fro the front brakes

Post by Hulken »

As we speak I'm striking a deal on a 74 Coupe. Front disc conversion is already been done, with BMW 525 E33 front discs and calipers. 302/22mm and 4 piston calipers.

Have picture, but don't know how to put it up...

Cool!

Pictures need to be hosted elsewhere and then you can link to them in a topic.

If you quote my post (just press the 'quote' button) you can see the exact text that needs to be inserted for this. You'll also see that its linked to a photo hosting site:

Ray, that was just before going on holidays with the family (its fully loaden there). The tube is a piece of hard plastic sour piping in which I transport my fishing rods
Not yet as its not a .jpg or .jpeg extension...
I made your attachment into a link by putting url front and rear as it now shows if you click on the link.

That is one VERY cool car!!!!!!!!!!! I like the striping as well. Always felt the 412 is a very good car for it. I even saved a pic of a corvair with such striping as an example
