Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Thanks guys! Its really nice getting pampered but whenever I move I can feel this chest tube inside me and it hurts so the pampering isn't worth the trouble.haha I was just bending over to get into my car and they said the top of my lung popped like a balloon. But on the good side. Im just waiting on axles and my car will be done. I got the shift shaft adapter in the car and everything. All it needed was a shifter adjustment and its not too bad. I want to get either the 10 degree mount in the future or figure out a way to run it over the tunnel and move the e-brake just so there is no adapters but this will work for now

Wow, Get better soon. Keep the dirt out of it, infection would be bad. And for those that don't know, chest tubes HURT  , all the time. Regardless of what pain medications are used, the pain is just dulled and never goes away. I feel for you, and wish a speedy recovery.

Update: David did great. The total time for surgery was about 40 minutes. 5 hours later and he is still all groggy. The doctor gave us a a pic of his insides an I will post up when we get home. He will be staying the night here and then home tomorrow.
Thanks for all the well wishes and he will be back to working on his car in no time.

Here is a Tuesday morning update.
David is starting to feel a little better considering he has only got about 20 min worth of sleep. They just took his drain tube out and he was a trooper. we are getting ready to take him home and finally get some rest. He has 2 weeks to recover and then he can get back to working on Bajas full speed.

Here are some pics from yesterday.

Image
Here he is feeling the full effect of the happy juice they gave him before the surgery.

This is a pic of David from the inside out. The white tube was the first chest tube he had in.

And this is him texting just as soon as he got to his room. He fell back to sleep just after this picture was taken.

David and I would like to thank everyone for the get well wishes. You guys rock.

That will depend on how well the waste gate installation heals.

Get better quick. You can't go offroading until you do!
