Good ear: its 5500 or 5700 I have the LC set, but I don;t think I depress the pedal all the way on the LC button. I am still a little bit scary of the whole thing LOL.
I did get a few good pointers from Clyde Berg on the ferry, so hopefully I can use that next time ;-).

My buddy Eric, right before the car burned to the ground thanks to a junky CB fuel rail hold down bracket.

So that was the cause?.. I saw some of the chatter on FB about the loss of his car. He was running the IDF EFI mani's from CB right? What a shame too, he was turning some quick times.

I've already been paranoid about those chinchy rail hold downs on the CB efi endcastings, and thought at least the IDF holddowns looked better constructed/lower stress.

NOS for about 4 months. Then he saw the light and went turbo last month. I think this was about the 6th pass on the new combo. Only 12-13psi, and out of gear. You can hear it hit the limiter as soon as he crosses the strip. Thats at 8500rpm

The fire killed the body, wiring, 2 injectors, 2 coils and a few other things. He will rebuild over the next year or so. New body. Planning on 9's. Built to be driven on the street 8)

The hold downs just don't work really well, they put pressure on a radius, so they are really only touching at one very small point. I'll be redoing mine as well. I had one pop off on the strip a few weeks back, but was lucky, no fire.

Not happy indeed. This was the same engine he was using NOS with. Don't know if he lowered the compression. I think 9:1. With comp Es and one of my T3/4e turbos. He was making great progress vry quickly. His boost controller was still on 1st stg.

Same exact long block as with NOS. 8.3:1. It'll come back prettier and faster!

some words:
it's not a easy to tune setup with the 90mm TB. we did alot of woot hits to check all mechanic stuff under boost we have seen close to 0,9 bar on it. unter load or + more throttle it's easy to drive and more easy to tune.
we found out that the cooling is good and special stevens intercooler setup that he build really works well, i like it alot! also the supercarger holder and hole system we now can say its well well done. thanks to steffen who did the mechanik side on the supercharger setup.
the flames was toying with high fuel numbers. it's still in the beginnung and need alot of work, but now we know it's on the right way, next season it should be ready.

but one thing. its fucking loud!!!!
