I want to do flywheel crank trigger on my T4 to keep the pulley pretty and low profile. I just need to really dial in my rotary table on the mill.

Depending on your system (and if you run a separate cam sync) you can do it with zero machining...
A T1 might need a hole for the sensor, depending on case style.

You get 6 evenly spaced "crank wheel teeth" for free from the factory.

Flywheel crank trigger wasn't an option for me as my flywheel will be machined in such a way that there is no room for that anymore on the flywheel after we're done 8)

IIRC you now have a 6" multidisc like a Tilton and a ring gear supported by good intentions

Close: 7,25" 2-disk Tilton ;-)

I think you need to update your signature. :)

I thought you were over 400 in the last video but I guess that's at the flywheel. :)

Have you changed the bore to the Mahle 100mm Turbo P/L's ? Or is there just a memory problem and it's still 103 x 66...

Its still the old 103x66 combo. We're all getting older huh?
Tnx m8.
BTW I have long sold the 100mm pistons and my 100mm liners, so no excuse there either...

I had 1st thought maybe you went to the 100mm P/L with the 66mm crank so you could move the 103's with the stroker crank and take your time on a new build and still have a Turbo motor to play with and didn't tell anybody.

I like your thought, alas, costs for a second complete engine are not (at all) in the budget unfortunately.
The 2,2 runs extremely well however. The new cam works even better down low in the rpm-band then I would have thought tbh :-)
Very curieus if it keeps it going up top too.

First there is a trackday coming friday, after that maybe as I am on eof those curieus minds 8)
Just did another testrun and kept my foot in it. Its just on the lowest boost setting (1 bar, 15 psi wastegate spring) but man its scary already! Usually I get that at 1.3 bar and more...
Just floored it at 3200 rpm in 4th and at 3500 had already 0,5 bar (7psi) and 1 bar at 3880 rpm so ist very responsive indeed compared to the large turbo.
I also had to add a LOT more fuel under boost, so I am very curieus what that equates too as well.

Made a new rear sealing plate between engine and apron:
