Hi,
Car weighs approximately 730 kg without me.
As a race car some years ago it was below 800 kg with driver.
I have done several changes to the car on both plus and minus side.
Next year with CF doors I will weigh the car and then the estimation and guesswork will be gone.
Hi Kim,
You bet I do VW stuff in Pakistan too. Now with the family in Sweden and more time on weekends, this is given.
Not the same energy as when in Sweden, work takes a lot of time and effort.
How about life in Dubai?
Any VW progress?
I will be there in two weeks for a couple of days.....lets see if we can get together. I do not have my full agenda but will let you know over e-mail.
Here are the newest actions pictures.
I like them because even if they are different locations on the track, they are caught under braking and the front wheel is seen ducking in the fender.
Here it is quite visible how low my exhaust is. Even the UGLY last moment re-positioned muffler was low but I did not scrape it too much....just alittle bit.

Short visit in Sweden and some few hours in the workshop.
Preparation for the CB EFI and for the new sidewinder exhaust with quite muffler above the gearbox.
Then a final CF muffler exiting to the left of the engine.
Stealth looks and quite.
The EFI will get airboxes routed to a large airbox inside the car fed by the Naca ducts in the sidewindows.

Hi nbturbo,
Thanks. Now you got me started again.
I also read through my post and realized how many mispellings I have. Too late to correct them now.
I also noticed a big portion of this summers race report is missing.
This year my main competitor the supercharged Corvette had a walk over. Broken ball bearing in the Paxton.
It was a slight pity as I had a run on the track that was 2 seconds quicker than last year and more than a second quicker than his best lap.
Sure I did have some oil breather problems so my laps were limited but I did enjoy it a lot anyway.
The best lap was even with the Kiwi girl in the right hand seat (that is the passenger seat in this part of the world).
Probably the best lap was when the chair came loose and she started shouting.
Talk about "lap times" ... I had her as close as is comfortable to still be able to drive in right hand curves. ...almost right down my lap. Good my wife was at home.
More later.

Over in this part of the world-we don't let Kiwi Blokes get any where near us-something to do with the sheep thing. My best mate is a Kiwi and he gets me back with Kangaroo stuff.Had another read thru your stuff-what you have been up to for a long time is awesome. The Type 4 cylinder heads do it for me.I caught up with Dave Folts-he is only doing spools for the Bus Auto.I think I will still try the Type 3 auto. Will have to pull the diff out soon and see what I can do to modify the carrier. Thanks for the pics of yours.

WOW!!!!!! , Just found this thread, awesome, can't imagine the time/money
you have invested in all this. Are you ever the world traveler. What line of
work are you in? I have a question, every time I see this video(link below)
it sends thrills down the back of my neck and it was filmed in the Swiss alps
I thought you might know something about it. The acceleration/handling is
phenomenal on this car and wondered if you had any comments on it.
Hell, it could even be you.
You have to wait approx. 1:45 into it to see the bug blow the "doors" of
the bike. The vw WALKS off and leaves the bike in the dust.
