Congrates! She is looking great and so fast too!! I like the sporty classy wheel look and your smooth front gives the car a great look!! It's so cool that you can match the front light surrounds and give the car a different look and feel! So what all do they check for the test?? Here is FLorida in the States we don't have inspection... You have done a great job and hope you enjoy the rides!! Bill,jr.

Could I gatecrash and make it THREE in one place?????

Fantastic job, just in case I haven't said that before...

As for the MoT vwbill it is a very thorough check of all brake components and their effiecency, all suspension components, corrosion ie none within a set distance of seatbelts anchorage point and suspension mounting points, all lighting on the vehicle, tyres and wheels, security of seats and belts, door catches and basically anything else that would compromise the safety of its use on the road. More modern vehicles are also subject to an emmisions check. If any of the checks aren't to the satisfaction of the tester it does not pass the test until they are recitified. I think that the German roadworthiness test is even stricter than our one so...

Excellent outcome! Fantastic car.

Love the garage, too. Wish I had one like that, mine's attached to the house, no windows, shared with the washer and dryer...

The Links arent working at the moment, but I seem to remember plumcrazee bondo-ing the rear body panel into the car (see below pic). Did you in fact do this (I can't see the pics anymore)? If so, how did it work? Can anyone forsee problems with leading, welding, or bondoing this panel to the ajacent one? See pic below. The reason is that I am planning on painting my car in a few weeks and think I would like the look of a completley smooth panel, and it shouldnt add a lot more work to just tack this on to the list of things to do.

hi mate right the only problems are if you have a small knock then it expensive to replace as you will have a far more repair to do than just unbollting the wing other than that there is no problwm apart from upsetting the purists

i did it on mine by bolting the wing on and then using just normal body filler and yes it has cracked on the seem as i guessed it would but when i spray the car later this year i will most likely use fiberglass reinforced filler of just tack weld it every 30mm down the joint to stop any more craking

hope that helps buddy
