Is your Boost gauge a boost gauge or a vacuum/boost gauge ? If it's just boost you could go above the throttle plates. If it's a combo gauge you'll need to go below the throttle plates.

Panel what are your thoughts on where to plumb his fuel pressure regulator? Before or after the throttle blades?

It’s a Pa street legal sand rail single seat. I have the fuel pressure regulator plumed off my intake port along with distributor and boost gage.

Mine on my bus now (Subaru) is plumbed below/after the throttle plates. I think that's normal. When I was draw through I had a Holley Red or blue FP and boost referenced FPR also I believe under the throttle plates (boost/vacuum sourced). If you look at the Aeromotive website it looks like the plumb them into a boost/vacuum source after the throttle plates.

That's how mine is too but I've read that plumbing them after the blades will show vacuum on the regulator and actually pull it down lower than what FI requires. Carbs of course are a different story.

I had the boost reference for the fuel pressure regulator after the the throttle plate and the fuel pressure gauge was all over the place because of the vacuum. I just now remembered that.

If it's carbed I'm pretty sure you have to use a one way check valve.
