Does anyone know who actually wrote this? I have a few ideas. Too bad Jeff himself didnt have your actual $$ in his pocket. It might be payment for the libel/slander.

Matt if anyone really wants to know who wrote that message we can find out. Scott Keith or Brian have the means to trace it back. There was a Guest recently slamming Jake. They traced it back to another T-4 engine builder and supplier. They revealed his identity and he was not heard from again. Those who wish to remain anonomus for the sake of slandering others do not deserve that privlege in my opinion. Good luck. Bob Ingman

Mattt, there is nothing anonymous or sneaky about my assertions that Jeff Bancroft did an underhanded, dishonest, slippery deal with my exhaust system purchase. I called Jeff, as required by the group buy, to give him my credit card info. He quoted me a price of $325 for the system uncoated. A week later, some two months before the system was ever ordered from the Kymco vendor who make their exhaust systems, my Visa had been charged $419.00. I called to inquire about the charge and was told that Jeff no longer worked there by an employee named Mark, I recall.

In the following conversations with Janet McLeod, I was informed that Jeff charged my card and left the company with my money, left without ever ordering my exhaust from their vendor. Janet also said that the price that Jeff was offering the exhaust for ($325) was well below their actual cost from the Kymco vendor, that the correct amount should have been $419.00. Janet told me that I could still get the uncoated exhaust for a cost of $419.00 already paid or she would have Visa credit my account for this amount. She said that this goodwill gester to fill my order would be funded by her personally, since Jeff had "embezeled" company funds in this and other credit card transactions, thereby saving the reputation of Kymco, the company that she was now in charge of.

I know that Jeff Bancroft made a transaction on my Visa card for $419.00 on a quote for $325.00 on a purchase that he never entered with the manufacturer. I know that I received the product 3 months and $50.00 in phone charges after it was paid for in full. I would very much like to forget this entire episode, but I am prepared to defend my position. Questions???????????????????????????????

Bob,

I did an IP trace on the person the "guest" that posted the previous information. The ISP server is located in Texas but no registered user has ever used the IP address... so I don't have a name. I did however change the forum rules to not allow guest to post or reply to posts.

nothing Anonymous????......look back at the original post, it says "Anonymous wrote:"

You can believe Janet if you like. But, she does sort of flush herself out when she said

""Janet also said that the price that Jeff was offering the exhaust for ($325) was well below their actual cost from the Kymco vendor, that the correct amount should have been $419.00. Sounds to me like she didnt like the deal Jeff had worked with you guys, and maybe she took over, and took your $419. We have no way of knowing the timing of events between Jeff & Janet, when he ordered or didnt order exhaust, who and when charged your credit card.

All Im saying is that knowing Jeff personally for a few years now, what you are describing isnt Jeff.

Ill say this too, I would bet my bottom dollar that IF Jeff had stayed on, all of you would've received your exhaust systems on time and for the price quoted.

You wrote ""since Jeff had "embezeled" company funds in this and other credit card transactions"" , seems hard to accomplish because of the way credit card transactions are paid to businesses, not individuals.

Believe who and what you like,,,,,but if read between the lines of what Janet told you, the truth comes shining thru if you ask me.

Here lies my current dilemma. I got the exhaust system that I ordered and i got my hardware, gaskets and all parts. I was charged $419 for a product that was quoted as $325. The $419 is still a discounted price for the products I received.

I can easily dispute the $94 overcharge. Is this the right thing to do? All advise will be considered. K-mann

P.S. I am not a guest on this list

I am not pissed or bothered. This is partially due to the fact that I seriously injured myself this summer and as a result even if the exhasut had been shipped on time, I would still be where I am in my Thing project. Things are how they are anyway. I let you be in my dream if you let me be in your dream. Bob Dyan said that...
