I guess I did! OTOH, if we are to keep our cars running, this sort of thing will have to be part of it. i.e Rabbit & Audi parts.......etc, not to mention my toilet plunger idea :) . Hey the guy Had been a solid vw mechanic for 40yrs and swears by this replacement every time someone quacks about having to pay an astronomical price for a Bosch pump. I think he said they cost ~ $60 new but they don't have a return line though. hey mgvwfan, I've always wondered; how do you say Anglia? I used to calll them Ang'e'lia but maybe it's wrong.

Wow, it would be stupid to try to rebuild the motor section with all the possibilities of problems! Do you guys have the pump numbers for the bus pump and the ford number? We should put that somewhere! So you have the accumulator on your t4(412) or are you saying t4 bus? I found the one on my brother t3 wagen was plugged and was stopping the flow so I toke it out temp. to get it running but it cleaned up with some cleaner and I better put it back in now then! Do you guys think it would be a good thing to have in line if its not there? I remember once on my old 412 I wasnt getting fuel so I pulled the top of the pump apart and cleaned it and reassembled it and it worked fine after that. It had that clear varnish stuff in it. thanks again for all the info! bill

VWBill...The accumulator is in my '73 412 Variant.

Herr Langenbeech...Anglia, noun (ain-glee-uh), a region of Eastern Britain, also a small two-door automobile made by Ford of Britain, famed for its ugly schnozz, and its low power to weight ratio. So ugly, it's cute :?

That's the ONLY way to make one go fast, to use the black arts  , it certainly won't fly down the road on its own!

Yeah, my kids have kidded me mercilessly about that movie and my old Anglebox.

Sometimes a reel of fim is just a reel of film?

People often ask me If I enjoy all the free movies I get to watch.

I put it this way to them,

Where is the last place you want to be on your day off?

When I used to run projection I enjoyed watching movies, until I figured out there were gears and shafts and bearings that made the machines run, then the movies became an after thought. I take care of 11 locations in North Alabama and 2 in North West Florida with a total of 120 screens, so I do catch most movies, but in a jumbled up way, 5 minutes here 2 minutes there etc etc etc.

Hey, I agree! I'm the guy with the Hitachi Honda dizzy, Saturn fusebox, and Ford Mitsubishi alternator on his MGB :D

DB... I guess that's like me, when I worked in a TV shop in college, many moons ago, the last thing I wanted to do was watch TV after work (unless it was the original SNL or Monty Python's Flying Circus...)
