Hey shoptalk...
Jason Q. Here from Memphis Tn. Been into bugs since 87. That's when I bought my first bug, a 60 Euro bug with sliding rag. I now have a 66 bug with grated rag top, in the process of being totally restored.( pan on). It's painted gold pearl, I'm.doing the interior myself, black with diamond stitching.....( have tons of pix). Has a 1641 efi turbo...don't know to much more about engine and trans....had it shipped from N.C. and the guy moved without giving any info?? Will post pix on the forum as soon as i get it back. Anyways good to be here, thanks-

I have been lurking the last couple of years and just recently started refreshing my 1974 standard Beetle's suspension and converting over to discs all around with Porsche wheels. I would like to prep the car for B sedan racing or something similar but that might be wishful thinking.

I have just joined this group today. Very nice post and information here. Congratulations.
I have recently bought a Brazilian Bug, 1994. One of the lasts made here in Brazil.
It still has a lot to be fixed. I´ve replaced the two original carbs (they were not good) by one central Weber 40 and now I am working on setting it up.

Hi I'd like to introduce my self and my Super Beetle.
I've driven a few air cooled VWs over the years and previously had an account here, but I have long forgotten the login info.
After about 8 years without an air cooled I'm back with this 75 Super Beetle La Grande.

So far I have added disc brakes, a 2" lift and replaced a bunch of steering and suspension bits. Future plans are to repair some rust, reupholster the seats, build a roof rack and take it on some road trips.

Hi all, I just found this group. I’m Mike and live in Houston. I have a ‘73 412 Wagon I bought new in San Diego. I also have a ‘68 Beetle I bought in ‘71. Both of them need some work, and now that I am retired, hopefully I can get to them.
