I have 275/60-15's in the back and they are 27 inches tall which raises the gearing a fair amount compared to stock tires. Your tires are probably larger diameter than stock too which raises your gear ratio.
I do have the 4.12 ring and pinion.

I was at 4000 rpm at 99.2 mph in the quarter which probably affected my times a bit. It makes for a great driver at cruise though and putting smaller tires on it is not worth it to gain a little E.T unless I tried it once or twice.

Plug your numbers into a hp calculator to see what you come up with........I'm interested to see how close we will be.

What size valves do you have and what heads???

I will do that hp calculator later, as well as check the iat temps for you.

My transmission has a 3.88 R&P

The heads I believe are CB 044's with the 42x37 valves.

The intake temp at 15 psi was 189 degrees. My iat sensor is before the water/meth injection, so I don't see the changes in temp anymore since I moved the nozzle.

I was seeing around 135 degrees when the nozzle was before the sensor.

Sorry for such a late reply to this post....I was checking up on your build.

Your compressor temps are pretty close to what I am showing with mine.

186 at 13 lbs. no spray.

144 at 17 lbs with water/meth injection.

What is the update on your build now Cory???

Are you running and driving??

Yes clone, I am up and driving. I have purchased a new turbo to install "larger " just haven't had the time to install it. Been working on my interior of my bus and working a lot.

I was having detonation issues with the motor, meth solenoid wasn't opening. Fixed that and things are better now. Can't wait to install this new turbo and tune for it.

Thanks for checking up on my build, I enjoy reading yours. Have a Merry Christmas

Nope no more 1679cc, I had to stroke it. I figured why not since the crank was the same price. I also have some forged 88mm pistons in the motor now since those cast ones completely destroyed the whole block and internals. Went with another Engle 100 cam, scat lube a lobe lifters with the Bob Hoover mod along with the case as well.

I was planning on changing the turbo before the catastrophe happened. That just added more time and money before I could purchase the turbo. Should see it installed next month. "I hope" :D

Also forgot to add I might be pulling the motor to change / upgrade the pressure plate, my stage 1 is slipping in third gear. I might have the cable a little too tight. We will see.
