Old Race Cars Never Die [56 Build]

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

I did put a dome light in before I finished the seats and carpet. I really did not have to have one but really nice when you need them.

Seats are in and dash is next. If you look closely you can see little Mustangs on the seat. A better place for them I think. A Mustang should be out in the dirt and wild, not on pavement and in the city.

I received all my CV'S and axels and boots this weekend. Got everything put back together and working nicely. No clicking there is some play in the axel and they turn smoothly. getting closer to being finished and ready to take it for a ride. I hope the heads are done this week and can get the engine in soon. Dash should be in this week and then I just have to finish the bumpers and wire it.

Finished the dash and front end over the last few weeks. I just need to do the wiring and put the engine in and do some small stuff and I can take it for a ride. Hope to have it on the road in the next couple of months. If you are new to my post here are some before and after pic.

If you feel you are picking up speed you may be going downhill.

That rider grab handle looks very interesting. A different take for sure.
