I am not planning on a cutter brake, not really room for it and plenty of other things to do. I do have 4 wheel disk brakes and they will be fully functional.
Currently working on steering rack, the unibal end at rack does not allow enough travel for foreward mounting so converting it to heim joint inner.

I have been slowly working on buggy, finally got steering rack figured out and moving on to other parts of the build. Hope to have her back on the road in a few weeks. I have a little more fab work to do, then just the fuel system and wiring.

Starting to get warm enough for a buggy is it?

Well it has been way too long but I am finally working on street buggy again. I received my intercooler fans today will hopefully pick up some aluminum tomorrow to get them mounted.

Fans (plural)? Must be a good size intercooler?!

Not so big, core is 11" x 6" and 3" thick. It is from an 80's Thunderbird turbo coupe. The fans are from frozen CPU.com and rated at 240cfm each, very impressed with the airflow from a 4.5" fan, I have been running 1 on remote oil cooler on offroad buggy for several years. I am hoping that I can get IAT close to ambient when on boost, dont really have room to add WI so hopefully this will suffice.

What's weird is that I dont feel like I have room for an intercooler, so I went with WI.

It all depends on where you dont have room. WI requires a pump and tank that have to be mounted somewhere. Could be tricky to find a spot in an open buggy that is safe. Trying to fit an intercooler under the decklid of a bug creates a similar problem.

I also like the simplicity of an air to air, got fan mount welded to intercooler tonight, here are a few before pics.

Are you going to be able to mount it where it can get some good air to it too?

I am limited on mounting options so it will sit behind passenger seat, I plan to run 2 IAT sensors so I can moniter intercooler efficiency.

Wouldnt it be an idea to mount it upright on the side? And maybe make a scoop on the side?

Made some progress on EFI wiring this week, plan to try running intercooler as is. It seems like every time I change something it adds time and expense. :?
