Oh I get it man. But I can't even explain how nice it is. In fact I'm a little embarrassed to say I don't know crap about it because it really works so well I haven't had to mess with much.

Well. I'm on the verge of giving up with carbs lol. Even the S.U wont play anymore. Think I'LL do a comp test 1st just verify all 4 are ok.
I'm gunna start an Injection thread for newbies, There's just so many different varieties though , hard to no were to start, I could do with something that will bolt on to the dell manifolds, that would save a lot of time.

Bummer. But really it will save you time and headaches in the long run. If you don't go crazy with features, an you can do a little fab work, the switch won't be too bad.
When I did mine I didn't know crap about efi, or wiring at all really. These guys here walked me through everything. Couldn't have done it without the help of the STF.

EFI seems intimidating at first but grasping the basics goes a long way. And depending on what you get there are built in aids to help along the way.

Also like Buguy said there are a bunch of people on here willing to help with the conversion.

What I did was break it into sections. I did the hard pieces first. Made a header and intake etc...
Then worked on wiring. Once that was done I moved on into tuning. It was getting too jumbled for me having it all roll around in my head all at once.

I think I have 7 of them. But they are still carbs my friend. Harder to get under a deck lid.
Maybe you could get microsquirt/megasquirt, some efi intakes, and use your carbs as throttle bodies?

Well , I have it running down the street, Its hunting/bucking at low throttle/low rev cruising and will only clear if I change down a gear to keep revs up. I guess my intake is too big, Its 2" from carb to dell manifolds.

So, i have found some throttle bodies with injector bosses to fit dell manifolds.

It wasn't for me. Your gonna love it! I have a single TB so it won't be quite as easy, but way easier than guessing with carbs.

There is a learning curve in that it’s something new but... at least for mega squirt it’s pretty simple and self tuning helps take out a lot of what could be guess work

You will never have to smell gas on your hands again.......as the saying goes.......carb guys will think about going EFI but a Fuel Injection guy will never want to go back to carbs............I'm on my third FI setup........
