There is a guy in AZ that preps motors and harnesses. My whole package is from him. He was associated with a company that made a pretty soiled name for itself. One of our buddies on this board is dealing with some weirdness actually. I knew of the reputation when I contacted him, but was in enough of a hurry that I was willing to give him a shot.
I have not had one single issue with what he sold me. Customer service so far is pretty awesome. So far, so good.
The harness is just a trimmed stocker, with the OBDII port added at the ECU. The ECU is stock as could be. I'll PM you the phone # just in case you want to contact him.

So just for the sake of anyone reading this for reference and not entertainment at my expense:
I was running a Stage III Kennedy PP and a 6 puck before. I was mistaken in thinking I had a Stage II before.
I had the motor sitting on the floor the night we got back from the trip. The jury is out as to why the clutch started slipping.
Potential causes:
1. the 6 puck was a Latest Rage disc. I ran it HARD with the ecotec. Hammered WOT through whoops etc... and never had issues... but maybe the extra uuuumphfff from the two extra cylinders was enough to spin it?
2. I found evidence of the flywheel lightly contacting the bell housing. (really light, but enough to create a small amount magnesium dust right over the clutch) The cause was a hasty installation of the motor hangers that allowed a touch of flex. Maybe the light dust acted like dry graphite lube? A stretch maybe... but still an idea...
3. I don't remember which source I used for the torque specs on the Kennedy PP... but i've found some discrepancies online...
Maybe the PP wasn't tight enough?
The PP looked in FINE shape when removed.. albeit a touch glazed. So, I gave it a hearty scrubbing with some scotchbright and stuck it back in with a fresh disc. My next trip is in the dirt with the superdiggers on... so I doubt i'll have the traction to test it.... but rest assured... i'll give it a proper flogging and check back...
CAN'T FING WAIT FOR KOH!

Have you put a straight edge across the press plate? They often dish in at the inner radius then don't grip after that.

PP looked straight, and the wear on the clutch disc was even...
I'm banking more and more on the clutch PP not being tight enough.

Also some of the new ones were made wrong and needed shimming. Thick washers between the PP and flywheel will sometimes raise the break away torque over 100 pounds. You should weld up an input shaft -> torque wrench adapter and check the break away torque with the flywheel locked.

Ready this second? No.... But I'm not far off. The list is getting shorter. When is the night run this year?
Must do:
Fresh axles and cvs
Replace some failed switches
Fix boogered threads on oil pan drain
Move radiator up a touch
Would like to:
Enclose engine cage with aluminum and add reverse light
Add speaker for radio
Add one piece roofskin with tail light bar
