The car is changing directions into a race car to run at Bonneville. I want to run in the "Classic" category which allows no computer controlled ignition or fuel management. I'm toying with the idea of a blow through 4 barrel or may end up draw through. The megasquirt EFI will end up on my 181 Thing.

I wasn't going to have any turbo engines done for Bonneville, so we put in an 1807cc normally aspirated engine and ran at Speedweek setting a record at 106.420 MPH. I then bumped up the compression and bolted on some goodies (recommendations and help of FJCamper and Retro Racing) and set another record at World of Speed running an average of 113.131 mph. Now its back to the turbo engines to get some real speed and see what records we can go for in 2017.

The 1807cc 76x87 had a 76mm CB crank and 87mm Mahle pistons and cylinders, 110 cam, 1.25 rockers, cleaned up stock heads cut to 10:1 compression, and dual Kadrons.

That's cool. I've always wondered about building a mini stroker like that. Sounds fun.
