Lapped in the valves, only had one that was questionable. After a couple passes it cleaned up. Need to leak test them still.

Blended and knocked off the sharp edge

The exhaust bowls needed the most work, the casting cleanup tool puts a big step in the ports

After blending it down closer to the guide the flow path is much nicer. Also the intake port cleaned up really nice.

Went to my shop over the weekend and finished up blending on the second head

After I finished that I proceded to touch up the castings. They where in really good shape to begin with I just had to knock off a little flash here and there and run the cross buffing wheel through them. I think these heads are going to perform really nice!

You have to beat me remember.......
Although I do have a slight weight advantage at 1660 lbs total with driver and a few more CC's.......

I'm going to use an FK42 on 112's for this mouse. It will be mostly street and the lowwer power band with this cam should net me what I am looking for.

Setting TDC

Bringing the lifter to .050" lift to find the engine degree

Cam seems to be 2 degrees retarded, measures 12° with cam card specs @ 14°

Intake closing is way different than specs

I intend to join this battle as well. Just need to find time to get outside and get building. Are you going 69x85.5 Mario?

I was just giving Mario some grief from the comment he made on my build when we were discussing my heads......
If he gets more rpm than 5800 he will whup my *ss more than likely.......
Cool air and high rpm trumps Cu. In. and weight.

Yup, rebel. I'm finding it hard to adjust compression on a 85.5 bore. It take big changes to make a little difference.

7500 or bust!
If I can make 20 psi at 6500, I should be close to my 250 goal. That leaves me a little RPM headroom. Although that will be 220 wheel HP I may have to push a little harder on the boost dial...

You will be right there at 20 lbs boost.
Plug your numbers into this calculator. I use 130* IAT's but you might get better IAT's with your intercooler.
http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/calcboost.html
You will need 341 cfm at that output.
My turbo is good for about 394 CFM. So I will have to crank the boost to keep up......

My biggest disadvantage will be altitude, weight sucks too though. Almost 2200 with me sitting in the drivers seat.

Boost will trump altitude so you just have to go on a diet........

Looks like I'm going to have to take about 10ccs out of the heads and play with the cam timing.
My cam doesnt measure out on the 112 lobe centers its suppose to be. I'm seeing 110. And instead of the valves closing at 52 degrees they are closing at 57 degrees.

Are you trying to raise the compression or lower it????
