Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

I actually have some nice big tires for my front end now. Picked them up from Motochris on my way back from rasor road. Thanks again chris!

I also still have my rear cage and skidplate. They are just no longer attached to my car at the moment... :P

Tiko, that drawing looks a lot like what I built for mine.

The A arm setup pretty much forced me to have the sides straight up and down to give the most strength (IMO :D )

I still have some bracing to do, and I haven't decided if I will do any small 90* hoops to hang under the cross bar and tie to the supports where I can mount some small fog lights or not. Most likely not at this point, but it wouldn't be hard to do in the future if I need more lights

But not a lefty.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

added a switch for the 2 middle lights

and i was told to add a light to be seen in the dust so i took the bullet lights off the front and added one to the back

i'll only be running 4 lights at a time when needed and i'll be making a new light rack soon when i get some time and money. and hopefully i'll have the new front bumper finished by tomorrow.

Make sure the float bowl is full of gas, remove the fuel line going into the carb and put into a safe container then start the car. You can see if the pump is pumping. Just be very careful not to spill or let fumes near anything hot. Maybe use a longer length of hose than the one thats on there...
