Mine had heated oil running threw it , no icing
wasn't a problem until the ambient temps were 60*f and below

Ok in Florida, not in Michigan
only time i knew it was icing was at a stop light it didn't like to idle ,,

Hey that's actually some useful info for me! I also can place my hands on the intake after a few hard pulls. Its warm to the touch though. Maybe 90 to 100F.

Well the day I waited finally came. It broke.
I bent a rod, 4 dowel crank/flywheel broke too and broke one bearing.
I think this was it for this thread and it is time to start a new one and start a new build.
Thank you all who helped me on my journey! Definetly learned A LOT and I see that I'm ready to go a littlebit bigger for the next build and also learned a lot from mistakes I made that I won't do with my next engine build!
Engine lasted for about 1000km and I was running 1.5bar of boost, doing burnouts and streetracing all the time. Overall I'm happy that it lasted "that long". I really had a blast with this one!

How big are you thinking? Are you reusing anything from the 1641?
