What ever happended to Bob Ingman.

Bob is still up in Thunder Bay Alaska. His son is driving his Thing and he spends much of his time concentrating on outdoor photography. Health and a number of other factors caused him to drop out of the online Thing realm. He still has a number of Thing parts such as a complete gas heater that he would love to sell to Thing lover...

Bob was/is one of the greatest VW information resources. Sadly, that will not appear online anymore. I have asked him a number of times to join back in but he is not able to so. I also miss his online whit and wisdom. We used to comoderate this forum and it was much more active with his input. Bob is a one of a kind person.

Bob is far from gone. He is up in Thunder Bay drinking coffee, coughing his ass off, taking pictures of the Alaskan countryside. He still has some Thing parts that he would love to sell. He is off the Thing lists for good. This is a major loss to the VW community. He is one fine old school pal. Bob and I have lived and been in the same places and enjoyed the same VW dream. He is my friend. He is not gone he is just hiding out.
