just one of those sleepless night, and thinking of the 69 GL if I were to put some really good exspanding Foom in the heater channels that would make the car stiffer right??

I highly doubt it would make it ANY stiffer.

I have a car with expanding foam in the heater channels. The PO did it because he didn't want the drafts after he took the heater boxes out. Now, I can never have heat again unless I dig it all out (not easy).

Don't do it.

Gasoline will disolve it, and quick. I reccomend washing it out w/ soapwater afterwards.

heater channels already rust bad.. having something there holding the water in place isn't the best idea either.
