They 'opened'up a limo rear deck lid for the days 'project' and to show the foam and rust trapsin these. It took some time to fold the edges and drill the spotwelds, but with a little help of your friends...
The blue Variant was still of the original first owner and had done 550.000 km
After the first engine was replaced, the old one was put back after some 150.000 km's later. The case did not needed to be split, so the original case/crank/cam and cam followers (!) have now done 400.000km
