Battery, what's in your car?
I need a new battery for my baja. I don't like the stock one, it does not turn the motor over fast enough for me. What size and brand of battery is in you car and where is it mounted?

I'm going to run a stock battery to start with.
I'm planning on using an old plastic tool box as a battery box.
I looked at a few battery boxes....marine and auto...they didn't look like anything special, so I took one of my old toolboxes and was surprised when the battery fits perfect!

Got a red top I have yet to install in the rail (looking for a good place). Currently running a little CAT batt (always need a jump if sits more than a couple of days). Used to have the biggest yellow bat from Wal-Hell in our last rail. Those are made by Johnson Controls and that batt took a hell of a beating and never failed.

i have one of the mid grades available from carquest, its a sealed maintenance free. needed it the day i left for a desert trip, and it was cheap.. its currently sitting in the stock position, the floor is so rusted, i swear the cables are the only thing holding it in
.
i'm gonna remount it, sometime..

i put it far back as i could to maximize the wheelie potential. just in case this thing decides to wheelie
