Hi,
I was interested in what trailing arms folks are using. I'd like to keep my new acquired project as stock looking as possible. Something that has always bothered me about Things is that the rear wheels don't seem to be in the center of the wheel wells. Is there an aftermarket or other alternative that can be used?

I have early 85 Steel 944 Porsche arms on my off road Thing and 87 Aluminum 944 Porsche arms on my Thing road car.

Can the trailing arms from a bay window bus be used on my thing?

Although I have never tried this, I doubt it would work.
