I have a 1,8 l AN - motor ,
with solex pdsit 36-40 carburators . that I just get .

On the balance-pipe between the intake manifolds , there are two holes .
6-7mm that goes to the " brake - vacuum- drum - "

and one 3-4 mm , that I don“t know where to go ?
should I plug it or put it to the filter holder or what ?

( I have looked in Haynes handbooks for 914 and 412 , but nothing of that is expained . )

it is an european model ( sweden )

Hi,

the small pipe is for connecting a hose going to the thermostat valve in the air cleaner.

best regards, Fritz

Ok thanks for the answer

So the purpose is to take in a little air by this hole .

But I am not shure I have the original air-cleaner
less with thermostate valve .
( I usually disconnect all thermostats , and instead controls manually )
( It is to be on a type 2 )

Is it enough if it goes to the airfilter , with fresh air , at any
temperature at all ?

best regards Erik

If you no longer use the stock air cleaner...just block the port. Ray
