Hey Plumcrazee, so are you using the original 412 flywheel or the bus one the motor was from? It seems weird to me to think that you would have slipage without some kinda measurement or maybe the release bearing arms travel issue??? I'm not sure if there is a depth issue between flywheels and clutch disc or pressure plates?? Did the pressure plate compress into the flywheel during installation? Maybe some of the bus guys or Ray can give you more to go on! Bill
p.s.Could it be the slave piston arm extending in to far for that setup??

It really depends on what you have for an engine. If its any of the stock engines in stock form, the 210 sjould be fine ...and generally only see slippage in the heavier wagon and usually only when its worn out.

Its quite common to see variance in thickness on teh original discs by as much as .020" thicker or thinner. Usually thinner if there is varience at all. It is usually not the friction material but the spring material riveted to teh outside edge of the metal center.

But here is a nifty solution for you.....the center part (metal)...of both discs...are identical. You can take a worn out 210 to a reputable clutch reline shop and simply have 215 material riveted on.
If you look at both side by side.........look at the disc on edge...to see teh metal sandwiched in between and you will see that the center metal spline on the 215 is recessed....about 5mm as compared to the 210. Its the same part.
If a shop tells you that they cannot do this....go somewhere else. I have had it done numerous times. Ray
