Carpet installation

I am almost finished installing carpet in my '71 super. Coming out nice for my 1st time doing it. I used the TMI kit. I am on the last piece which is the rear section infront of the back seat. What is the easiest method for cutting around the e-brake? I have no pattern to copy from and the new carpet isn't cut for it. Carpet was removed prior to me getting the car. I don't want to make a cut and it be wrong. Any help/advice would be greatly appeciated. Thanks, John

Regarding the piece that covers around the emergency brake handle, you might try making a paper template of the requirement and when perfected transfer that to the carpet. This could reduce chances fo making a mistake in fitting the carpet.
